HISTORY

VISION

My lovely parents gave me the nice Bulgarian name Kalin, which is also the name of a tree. I was born in 1973 in Sofia, Bulgaria. Sometime in the early morning around 7 am, right after sunrise. The day was Monday, 13 of August. Well, it was not Friday, and you must be sure that I like my birth date.

I studied my first 7 school years in the oldest Sofia school - 127 "I.N.Denkoglu", in the center of Sofia. There I found most of my current best friends. I played in the school basketball team coached by Mr. Mladenov, the father of the best Bulgarian basketball player ever - George Mladenov. Well, our school gave many of the most famous basketball players in Bulgaria. I played for Levski junior team, but had to stop because I had to choose between sports and my new school - the Spanish. My choice was the language and I am happy about that.

Meanwhile, I was a singer. One day at school came a lady and made all boys to sing in front. Some of us were chosen to sing for a boy choir called "Guslartche". It was a great experience! A few years later, I was in the 4th grade, when my passed Grandmother took me to a singer examination for the Children's Choir of the National Radio and the next day to the other famous one "Bodra Smiana". I was accepted in the both, but I chose the first one. Of course there's a reason about that, but it is not that important now. So, while being with the choir at the seaside, I found the computer! It was the poor old Apple 2 compatible Bulgarian made machine called Imco. The computers turned into my hobby and passion.

At the Spanish school my new friends started calling me Mecho, Winnie-the-Pooh in English. The nickname was given by the boy who was sitting together with me and was called "Zaeka", or in English - The Rabbit. As Winnie-the-Pooh's best friend was The Rabbit, so here came my new name.

Everybody understands the reality different. For that reason I think that many realities actually are existing together.

Imagine that there are hundreds of thousand million railroads. Parallel to each other. Every railroad has its train moving to the one or the other direction... Now, think that a railroad stands for a reality, and the train for the small part of time we can think of. That little piece that we can understand. What will happen if we somehow manage to jump on the next train? Remember it goes the opposite direction! Of course the time will change. We will be members of another reality.
